VG- 30 bitumen is more viscous than VG-20 , min 2400 in contrast min 1600 for VG-20 in 60 C. The more viscosity, the more resistance in hot mix asphalt and hot summer conditions. It’s a main grade used in road covering construction. VG 30 has a broad usage in construction, water proofing and paving works and known an good replacement for 60-70 penetration grade.
