The penetration grade 40/50 is produced of distillation of crude oil in distilled tower . It is a semi hard bitumen with a medium viscosity in which considered as asphalt grade and generally used as paving application and construction works. penetration grade bitumen 40/50 could reach a softening point in 55/63C with the penetration ,40 to 50 desi-millimeter . This grade is a thermoplastic property that have a reaction alike synthetic resin which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled. Because of its medium viscosity its a convenient product for hot and moderate weather conditions .
